Issues with Verifying Agent

Having issues getting your Google Business Messages agent verified? You might just need to make some minor changes to your application.

Common reason your agent might be declined:

1. The email address you used might not coincide with the brand URL.
Example: If your brands website is www.nike.com but the email address you used was john@gmail.com Google will almost automatically declined this. You will need to use your work email address, for example; john@nike.com. If the domain used for your email and the website linked to the listing do not match Google will not verify for your location and you won’t be able to install your Google Business Messages chatbot.
